There's a way in the affiliate marketing to earn money (a lot or not depends on how much you're gonna work on it and if you can automate it). You can say it's a kind of an exploit of the system, but there's no real way they can solve it.
There are websites that pay you per lead. Meaning if the user has signed up you will receive a commission. Same websites usually also offer revenue sharing programs, which are usually more profitable. But we are going to focus on the PPL (pay per lead), since this one we can actually exploit.
So everyone had an idea in his head, oh I'm gonna sign up 100 times myself under my affiliate link and get a commission every time, right? well, that doesn't work that simple.
Now how they could know if the user that signed up wasn't actually your friend or you yourself?
There are two MAIN mechanisms they are using to detect this:
1. The user is using the same IP as other users before him or generally too many uses with the same IP. Once they realize it, they will probably annul all the leads related to that IP.
2. Many leads, but absolutely no conversions.
Now lets talk about how you can not be recognized as an exploiter.
Since many websites have tons of users and affiliate marketers, they usually just have some mechanisms that detect exploits. Every website has their own mechanism. Point is they are not sitting and checking one by one manually, unless you bring a huge amount of leads.
I'm gonna talk about one where I know the mechanism:
This is a new website, which is similar to Chaturbate, called Bestcams.gq . This is adult webcam website, so open it privately :)
Follow these steps PRECISELY:
1. Register a new user on Bestcams.gq . We're gonna call him MAIN USER, since he is collecting all the earnings.
2. After registering, go to the affiliate section and find your affiliate link. Register up to 50 users through your affiliate link, from different IPs from different countries. I made it bold because if you won't follow this will be an OBVIOUS exploit. Make sure that your countries are TIER1 countries:

You need to use proxies for that. I really recommend you to buy a monthly subscription to a normal proxies provider. Yes, you can get some free proxies here and there, it will work probably slower, not from tier1 countries, with limitations and you have to jump between proxy sites all the time until you say this method doesn't work because it takes too much time. Just get something that most affiliate marketers use like HideMyAss.
Seriously, don't waste time on that. You need a quick way to access hundreds of proxies, not to waste time on registering on trials of tens of free proxies websites. Besides you need to be able to choose the proxy of your countries yourself.
That's ok if you all the registrations are done in one day.
3. Since they pay 1$ per lead, you should now have earned 50$. Now you need to take one of your users and buy the minimum amount of credits. Since at least one user has paid and all your users are from different countries, you will not be seen as an exploiter. In fact, that's totally fine, since most users don't spend money directly. it takes them weeks before they start spending, so the website is OK with that. Since one of them spent, you kind of proved that you are not an exploiter. It is very important for the website that there was at least one payment, before that you are like not a validated user for them.
Now here's the thing that makes a difference in the affiliate world.. tons of people just trying to get things done without paying a dollar. It can be done, but the competition is insane, so the amount of work and creativity required is also insane. In fact, your chances to make a "Lot" of money without spending anything are really small.
People who actually experiment with small investments are the one's who manage to find a repetitive method and "bring the bacon". So if you're not ready to spend couple of dollars, then good luck trying for free :)
4. Now you can register again 50 users from different countries and buy credits from one of them (so your profit should be around 50$ on 10–20$ buying credits).
Generally you can repeat this every day and of course you can run multiple instances. I do recommend that after a week you create a new MAIN user that will be the affiliate.
One time, after couple of months repeating the same thing, I received a warning. Though no action was done, I realized I was under their radar.. Therefore, I just registered a new MAIN user and repeated it all over.
The 50 users per one time buying of credits that's how it works for me. That doesn't mean that's the limit, but I can approve that this amount works.
When you really get the hang of it, you can find other websites where you can use the method and most importantly you can automate the process of registering new users using a proxy and just run it continuously and that's where the BIG MONEYcomes, as was asked in the question.. :)
This info is actually coming from my experience with a guy who builds affiliate mechanisms for websites. There's no one formula for all websites, but there are principals that are used in all of them.
